Annika Read Last Night
As is our routine, last night the girls and I settled down to read a story, have Lauren read a book, and then I tell a story "from my mouth" as they say. Well, Annika chose a small emerging reading book that we recently passed down from Lauren to Annika; she read two of those books last night!!! Granted, she needed help with about 1/2 the words, but she could read Hat, Cat, Sam, Mat, Dog, has, etc.
We are a family of 4 readers now! Today it is Annika's turn to amaze me : )
