With Snow Comes Snakes

So, we got our first good snow of the season last night and all day today. In fact, we have had winter snow warnings all morning. It is snowing and blowing quite a bit. See the deep snow and drifts outside our front porch? I am not sure how much snow we have on the ground, but the drifts sure are fun to play in!

Now, I know that you are thinking to yourself, or maybe even out loud for that matter, "what in the world is the snake reference up there?!"

Well, the girls have been outside playing about three times today. But the wind is frigid. So lets face it, they are not going to go outside for long periods of time. Plus, Mom wont make THAT many cups of hot chocolate! So, for some reason Lauren grabbed the playdough and started making snakes, and then snake beds full of eggs. Then Annika followed suit, except her eggs hatched. Then Lauren's hatched. Now we have tons of little snakes all over our kitchen table. Those two have spent almost two hours (and they are still there!) making snakes and snake babies!

With snow comes snakes. Who'd a thought!
