It is utterly amazing how fast those little caterpillars grow! They more than doubled their size yesterday, and today they are huge ... compared to the teeny tiny size they were when we received them.
Seriously, they were about as big around as a pencil lead, if that big! They were about 1/3" long. Today they are at least 1.5" long and round and plump! Two were really active when we opened the package; they are the biggest. One was on the lid and stayed there until last night. That one has only grown a smidge compared to the other four. Still, it has doubled in size.
If they continue at this pace they just might burst out of the container soon! Ahhhh! Attack of the killer caterpillars! (grin)
