The weather warmed up this weekend, melting our three feet of snow, and the girls wanted to ride their bikes. Annika figured it was high time to take off her training wheels, so we obliged.
Bill spent a few moments pushing and guiding her, until finally she was going alone!
It is hard in our little patch of driveway, but she was doing pretty well, only falling every time around or so. And the dog and sister often get in the way. Lauren helped by cheering her on and providing pointers every now and then.
She took a few falls, as is to be expected, and often in puddles. She did get wet and cold!
But the cheesy proud grin tells it all!
