Today marked the beginning of the Cookie Season; we made chocolate chip cookies for Santa. (And we all know they will not last, but that's OK!)
The girls both helped quite a bit (Lauren usually reads the instructions, but today she did not want to.) with the mixing. Crazy times mixed in with the flour! Do you like their aprons and pajamas?
A little mess due to the helpers lack of coordination.
And they actually did all of the scooping and plopping of dough. This was a bit of a challenge for Annika, but by the end of the project she got the hang of it!
And now our Christmas cookie jar is overflowing with yummy chocolate chip cookies!
