Annika wanted a carriage for her Playmobils. So, she decided to alter a shoe box, and wha-la: instant carriage!
The only real problem (besides the mess in Lauren's bedroom from all the cardboard they were hacking and mutilating - kids scissors aren't meant for cutting corrugated cardboard!) was that I let the girls help make the paper-mache goo. I used the heat and cook the flour method, and they dumped the flour in too fast and then did not stir it right away, so you'll notice the lumps.
But they had a lot of fun making this carriage together.
