Anyway, the girls enjoyed picking blueberries for a short while, but since the berries are small it does take a while to see much progress. However, more abundant on the vines than raspberries, so it did go faster than I imagined it would.
Annika got low, into the undergrowth, and that way she got quite a few really good spots to pick from. Lauren did not want to roam on the ground, so she just grazed on the outskirts. I love this shot of her here; the "I don't want you here" look is pretty typical of Lauren!
We filled our bucket with about 3 lbs of blueberries and then picked a bushel of apples. And some sticks and a rock too. Who knows why, but the kids just feel compelled to collect sticks and rocks.
