We began the process of staining our deck this weekend. Lauren loves to help out with these kinds of projects, always has too. So, with broom in hand, she
began sweeping the deck for us. Under the careful supervision of Sir Barks-a-lot.
Once the deck was all swept up, we had to scrub off the dust and such. Lauren was out riding her bike, but yet again, she wanted to help. So we set her up with her own bucket and broom.
The only "problem" was she looked like our special-ed helper. But that's OK, because she really did quite a bit of the sweeping and cleaning!! We also paid her $5 for helping out so much - all without being asked either.
