Annika's Time Line

Annika's kindergarten class had to do a time line project. Annika was "so so so so" excited, to steal a phrase from her. Together we chose seven photos from some important times in her life - ranging from birth to the weekend before. We then printed the photos, she cut them out and glued them on and labeled them.
She chose: A photo of her and Lauren (and me) from the day she was born ... actually the next day, but lets not split hairs .... a photo of her at 10 months and Bill (Bill is balancing a spoon on his nose) in the OLD version of my parents kitchen from her first trip to MI, a photo of her at 11 months in our kitchen at Livermore when she was first walking, a photo of her at 2yrs old, at Friend Carol's house, sitting inside a canvas frame painting the back side of it, a photo of her at 3yrs old holding up a fish she caught at my parent's pond, a photo of her last summer at Michigan Adventure riding the frog hopper ride, and finally a photo of her and Lauren at Greenfield Village riding "Twilight" on the carousal.
(Since I am very late in posting this, as of May 18th the timeline is back home and she has hung it up on her wall over her bed. Each and every night she reads what she wrote and we talk about the event. I is pretty cool to watch her be so excited about it!!)
