Getting Creative

Annika has been making these really elaborate items at school during her inside recess time. (And with so much rain and mud, they have had a lot. And with so much snow and severe cold this winter, she had a lot of time to perfect this technique!) She uses colored construction paper and cuts, glues, folds, colors, etc. to create items.

The other day she came home with a computer.

Complete with a keyboard, monitor, mouse, mouse pad, and an assortment of CDs to play her games she likes.

Lauren asked for one too, so that they could play at the same time. Annika obliged, and the next day came home with another complete set up.

So this morning they actually were dressed and ready to go to school early (that in itself is a miracle!) and I looked in our toy room and saw them playing "computer games" together.
Who needs an Wii or PlayStation! We've got construction paper and imaginations!
