Being that Grandma was here close to Easter, we all decided to have a small, family celebration before Grandma left for CA. So, Thursday afternoon we had a feast to end all feasts. (And I was worried there would not be enough food. HA!)

Earlier in the day, Grandma decided to make an apple pie with the girls. They loved making the pie with Grandma, and the fact that they could snack on some goodies was a complete bonus. I love this photo; look at the love and spunk in their faces.

The final (one of two) product. While it may not look picture perfect, it is not that bad looking, and it tasted completely, 110% delicious!

The girls and Grandma made these really cute Peeps & Snickers decorations. So we cleaned up the island and got ready for Nanna and Poppa to join us for a feast! Isn't that a cute decoration there? (The flowers were for my last day of watching Ikey; I am currently unemployed.)

After dinner, the girls went outside, then lured Poppa out and proceeded to attack him with snowballs. What little remaining snow we had from our earlier snow-fall had almost completely melted; it was just the snow in the shadows that remained.
It was a fun afternoon, and we were all sad to see Grandma go home the next day. But there was still fun and excitement awaiting us!!
